Matt Kunz has spent his whole life in Football. The son of an 8 time pro-bowl offensive tackle, Matt has learned valuable insights into blocking technique and offensive strategies.

As a walk-on linebacker at the University of Notre Dame, Matt developed an understanding of defensive play calling under Defensive Coordinator Bob Davie. He also gained an appreciation for team management under Head Coach Lou Holtz. He played under then assistants John Fabris (DL University of Georgia), Urban Meyer (Head Coach, University of Florida), and Charlie Strong (Defensive Coordinator, University of Florida). His hard work and determination earned him a second string spot as a middle linebacker as well as many opportunities on special teams.

Matt Kunz has volunteered his time coaching youth football the past five years. He has helped two D1 teams surpass expectations and has been involved in one undefeated season at the DII level. Most recently he was the Head Coach of a 12/13 year old All Star team that played in one of the most exciting games of the season. He hopes to share his knowledge to help you to appreciate the game of football with the same preparation and passion that he does.
